We two sizes of pear tree: $25 for branchless ‘whips’ and $40 for branched trees over 6′ tall. All trees are grown in field beds rather than in pots and have well-developed root systems. Order trees now and we will dig and package them for pickup in West Asheville in late November/early December.

D’anjou
French variety that comprises a large percentage of US pear production. Green skin that yellows as it ripens, juicy white flesh with a rich, classic pear flavor. An excellent keeper.

Tennosui
Asian pear variety with large, crisp fruit. Said to be a cross between Tenn and Hosui. Ripens early August. Fireblight resistant.
